The Opening conference of the project “Capabilities of a smart village”

On August 26, 2022, starting at 11:00 a.m., we will hold the Opening Conference of the project “Capabilities of a smart village “.

The project started on May 27, 2022 and will last 12 months. The project promoter is Elementary school “Mijat Stojanović” Babina Greda. The school is located in a rural area that is ranked in the first group of the underdevelopment index. Because of the absence of necessary infrastructure such as sports hall, students have limited possibilities for extracurricular activities. That is why it is important to offer them an alternative choice, such as Tehnical culture club, Young scientists club and Volunteer club. In this project, teachers and other school employees will be empowered to encourage and promote development, improve educational skills and competencies in STEM area and develop active citizenship in cooperation with mentoring school Brundalen elementary school from the Kingdom of Norway.

At the Opening Conference, the participants will be introduced to the planned project activities and the main objectives of the project.
