The student choir at the celebration of The Norwegian Consitution Day

On the occasion of the celebration of The Norwegian Constitution Day in Zagreb, the student choir of “Mijat Stojanović” Elementary School was invited to Hotel Esplanade to perform the Norwegian and Croatian anthems for the distinguished guests. During the visit to the school on March 28, 2023, which was held as an Open Day, the Norwegian Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia, Haakon Blankenborg, was delighted by the children’s choir, which had preformed the Norwegian and Croatian anthems.

Since “Mijat Stojanović” Elementary School is involved in a project funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and has a partnership with the Norwegian school Brundalen, it was fitting to continue the collaboration in this manner. Therefore, on May 16, 2023, teachers and 43 students from “Mijat Stojanović” Elementary School traveled to Zagreb.

The celebration and performance took place at Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb, and our students, as well as the teachers, are very proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the ceremony in this way.
