Working together for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe

Our slogan is “Working Together for a Green, Competitive and Inclusive Europe”.

In April 2014, the Republic of Croatia became a member of the European Economic Area (EEA) by signing the EEA Agreement and was given the opportunity to use the Norwegian financial mechanism and the EEA financial mechanism. The financial mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian financial mechanism contribute to the reduction of social and economic inequalities in Europe and, at the same time, strengthen bilateral cooperation between the donor countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the beneficiary countries of the financial mechanisms. From 2014 to 2021, donor countries allocated a total of 2.8 billion euros to 15 European countries. Croatia was given 103.4 million euros.

Through the project “Capabilities of a smart village”, bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the Kingdom of Norway will be established through the cooperation of Elementary School “Mijat Stojanović” and Brundalen elementary school.
