Education: Civic Responsibility and Life Skills

As part of the “Capabilities of a Smart Village” project, in cooperation with the PRONI Center for Social Teaching, the “Civic Responsibility and Life Skills” education was held.
Lecturers Irena Mikulić and Mirjana Jozanović introduced the participants to the topics of education through interactive workshops: how young people learn, experiential learning, social skills, educational methods in working with young people…

In four instructive and interactive days, the participants acquired new skills, strengthened their competencies and got new ideas for improving their work.

In a creative and fun way, Irena and Mirjana encouraged the employees of the Elementary School “Mijat Stojanović” to rethink their own practice, helped them to design programs for working with students and presented new methods, tools and games applicable in the classroom.

The education lasted 20 hours and was held in October and December 2022. Seven employees of the Elementary School “Mijat Stojanović” Babina Greda participated in it. Important topics presented in an interesting and entertaining way caused a lot of laughter, and in addition to the educational character, the education helped the participants to get to know each other even better and strengthen their cooperation.
